      HORRIBLE company, backstabbing, catty - and that came from senior management!

      Free food, BUT only limited items that didn't cost them much to produce!

      Cons

      WAY overworked. Manditory 50 hour work week, was more like 55-60. One week vacation for management in first year?! Rediculous amount of company hoops to jump through and HR programs to complete. Constantly verbally abused by a manager and when I told my supervisor about it, I was told I had to deal with it. I left very shortly after that. NO CLUE how to run a sales department. We had no goals or sales incentives at all. When I asked for my yearly monitary sales goals, I was told "I'm not going to tell you because then you will hit them and not go any further." ?!?!?!

      Non-micro managing culture Job security due to organizations' huge cashflow levels

      Cons

      The upper level management at this company typically does not have the necessary educational background for their positions. At Compass Group you can find a director or VP without a degree Promotions are very unclear and it's based on who do you know and how much of rear kissing you do. Career plans are non existing unless you are at a lower level in operations Salaries are not up to par for the amount of hours you will need to spend at work on a daily basis

      Many different positions for people interested in the Food and Beverage field

      Pros

      There are many smaller companies within Compass that someone can find a career to grow with. You can work at the company right out of college until you are ready to retire.

      Cons

      Sometimes it can be difficult to get your foot in the door. Hard to move from the field positions to the corporate positions and visa versa.
