Pros

Collaborative flexible and middle of road benifits. High deductibles and wish they would help with HSA contributions. Hybrid work but isn’t needed. Could work from home but isn’t allowed

Cons

Work two days in office

Pros

I would recommend it only if you know all systems before starting there as there is not through or adequate training, also only go if you have experience in the industry for the same reasons. Be careful of ‘work life balance’ ‘great place to work’ and pregnancy. For a company that is so big you would expect processes, training and better training for new managers.

Cons

There was a lot of talk of work/life balance which was not the case in my experience and things were good until I told them I was pregnant and then a month later there was an abrupt end to my probation and there was no mention of the pregnancy between those times. I did not find them to be a ‘great place to work’. There was Little support for training and expectations to meet KPIs and targets straight after finishing one month training which was not substantial. I did not even see a call on a client by a colleague in my disease state the whole 2 months I was there despite requesting it several times. I was not given an up to date client list when I started and had to send several emails to coloplast to get it updated. I was given clients emails by my manager when she sent over 20 emails to customers informing them of an update and I was told to copy the emails that I was cc’d into and that was how I received any customer information. No handover, of Customer information or contacts otherwise. I was Exceeding target rate by week 6 and received items in the mail from Marketing such as blue latex mats, with no information as to what they were for. I had no information about expenses, One minute you are told that you should gather information from all of the team as the manager is busy and the next minute you are told you don’t speak to them enough. Lots of inconsistencies. Also, you are now expected to build customer relationships with limited, approved, regional travel so it has to be done remotely. The induction was limited to say the least. I had 1,5 hours with marketing, no information given about spending limits, how to book travel, ordering limits for stock, I was given a 6 page PowerPoint to catch me up on the current marketing campaign and given a bag of ingredients to mix to show how the ingredients work to clients with my counterpart telling me to just mix them And My manager constantly telling me to speak to others to inform me and as you can tell a bag full of ingredients and no helpful information probably summarises all of my training. The vic sales team is entirely female which is interesting in terms of diversity. I was informed by many colleagues that bonuses are pretty much non existent.
