Pros

Lots of agent/sales/marketing support and resources at all levels, excellent corporate reputation, superior agent/sales/marketing training programs compared to other brokerages

Cons

tier based commission splits, although this is a trade off in exchange for no desk fees. also agents have to pay for use of company copiers & printers

Pros

The training and marketing support provided to Coldwell realtors was outstanding. The realtors were of the highest caliber in our area. I was proud to say I worked at Coldwell Banker!

Cons

The splits were harsh. For a new realtor getting off the ground, it was tough to stay in the game when more than 50% of your check went to the house. Our ReMax office offered a more competitive compensation plan for new agents, and I know my office lost quite a few good agents because of the split. I just couldn't afford to keep going on only $1 or $2 million in sales.

This is a cheap, disorganized, disrespectful mess!

Pros

This place offers a slightly flexible schedule and is accommodating of people with families, etc. Don't worry, though, because they'll pay you less because of it.

Cons

This company does not spend money. They use dated technology. They have no idea how to support brokers for success. There's no where to move up. No one to talk to about issues or even just suggestions about how to get things done. Even if you do somehow break through to make suggestions, no one wants to spend money to get the job done. To add insult to injury, this is an 'old boys club' to the extreme.
