      Pros

      Good working culture, that is one reason I have been with Cognizant for more than 11+ years

      Cons

      Company is doing very good each quarter in terms of profit year after year, but still they do the minimal hike to employees. Other draw back thing is, their appraisal cycle sucks. Whatever you do or contribute, it behaves like Indian government reservation quota, so not all star performers will be rewarded, because you do not have quota for this year, will try next year :-)

      Unlimited PTO, Great Headquarters in Denver. Still has many Employees who care about the work they do and services they provide to the Clients.

      Cons

      Incompetent Management, Terrible HR department. No accountability leads to lots of roadblocks to get things done. Lack of Processes. High Voluntary Turnover. Political Bomb.....

      I honestly can't think of any pros to working here.

      Cons

      Poorly managed company that has no work life balance. You are expected to work evenings and weekends quite often. Employees are tired, stressed, and unfriendly. This creates a high turnover of employees which equates to a lot of newly untrained people and no time to train them: and the cycle keeps repeating. Seating looks like a sweat shop and there is no privacy for anyone. Every day is a fire at this company, so be prepared to drink from the fire hose. Very toxic environment.
