Flexible work arrangements are granted. Benefits are competitive to the market. There is an element of a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Cons

NO opportunities for career development. The company claims that "here at cognizant you grow", but has nothing to show for it. The company is dominated by Indian nationals and thus, the company culture can be unfriendly toward U.S. citizens.

Pros

Cognizant is a place where there is a lot of potential for growth. Being one of the youngest software consulting firms the growth and potential within the organization is tremendrous. If you have the right manager then the benefits are great and you can really achieve a fantastic work-life balance.

Cons

Cross-cultural diversity is dismal - and there is no easy way to say this but the company feels like an Indian company that just has a sales office in the US. Inter-departmental politics hamper work big time but then I dont think it is different in any other similar organization.
