Pros

Large organization with many different career paths. Decent benefits. Flexible work schedules (but only to accommodate all of the nights/weekends/holidays you'll be working). Depending on your management, they may recognize you for going above and beyond...

Cons

Long hours. Poor middle and senior management. Very few leaders in the right positions. Hiring under qualified individuals for critical positions, which leads to additional responsibilities for those with ability. No understanding of project scoping... If you loose resources and/or new initiative come on line, managers must convey those circumstances to the customers and reset expectations... Otherwise, people leave in droves.... Management gets too wrapped up in politics, which causes delays and issues with projects...

Pros

Citigroup offers good compensation compared to my previous job and exposure to a different prespective in a much bigger company. The current management team currently is very understanding of the needs to address personal issues without having to worry about missing meeting / unable to meet deadlines.

Cons

The Politics at Citigroup is very difficult to deal with on a day to day basis. Everyone has an opinion on how to do something and very vocal about their thoughts but at some points it becomes counter productive. This took a long time to sync in for many people.

Pros

I learned a lot in a short period of time. I was offered several training/certification classes that were helpful.

Cons

I was hired in as a "Citiflex" temp even though I did the same work as someone receiving the benefits of being a regular full-time employee. Once I left, I was offered the full time position I had been waiting 6 months for. When I first began, there wasn't really any training period, I was thrown into the position.
