Pros
Great work life balance. Work from home is a major plus (they own WebEx). Smart capable people. Amazing benefits including a full week of paid leave for charity volunteering. Love how much the company gives back to society.
Cons
Very rare to get a salary increase, so be sure you're OK with the salary you accept. Lots of churn in mid-management, I've had 13 managers in seven years. Tough to get your ideas heard, unless you're politically minded. Since the company is so large, there are a lot of slackers who coast along just under the radar, which can be de-motivating. Very engineering driven with design, and user experience, as an afterthought. There is also no clear career path for designers. Design is not handled in a traditional manner, so collaborating with fellow designers is rare- instead you're assigned a product and become silo'ed in it.
