Pros

Working remotely was a plus so that I did not have to drink the culture kool-aid. It was too sweet and artificial for my taste. However, you are only set up with a cheap laptop, no paid internet and no phone. I enjoyed the opportunity to work for more than one client. Some of my managers were ok.

Cons

Cielo is all about image without much substance. I saw again and again the impossible promises made to clients when we all knew that there was no possible way to deliver. Cielo will undercut the competition with lower rates just to get the business but then staff the account with too few recruiters, many with little to no true recruiting experience. Many people managers were in no way qualified. You've heard of the old boys club, well, Cielo is the old girls club. Pay was low, benefits laughable and bonuses continually shrinking.

Pros

I have worked at Cielo for 3 years. Good people, especially during "Ochre House" time. Good career progression if you start with limited recruitment experience (1-2 ys). Good internal mobility program.

Cons

85% best people left within 1 year after moving from Ochre House to Cielo. No real career progression once you reach Senior Recruitment Advisor role. Salary is poor. Its a good company which aim to hire top talent but can only afford average recruiters. Used to be much better.
