Pros

A lot of internal opportunities for mentorship, online discuss and tutorials.

Cons

If you've never worked a remote position before it really might not be for you. Do your research and ask the right questions. Some things to think about: if you or your leader are remote you get to have very little interaction with them and the chance to build a personal relationship as every is very busy. You rarely get to be in conversations between the client and leadership so you risk be misrepresented with little opportunity to stick up for yourself. It is a "your word against theirs" mentality and keep in mind that they are going to always side with the client to keep them happy and keep the contract. The company tends to be very dog eat dog and everyone has to watch their own butt but again, that is just part of this thype of remote work and structure and it may or may not be for you.

Thank you for taking the time to post. We agree that working remotely is not a great fit for everyone but our managers do their best to engage remote and onsite employees equally. We're disappointed to hear that was not the case for you, and wish you the best in your career.

Pros

Cielo holds individuals accountable for their work, but gives them every tool and opportunity to succeed. Some people, especially Recruiters coming from corporate roles, aren't accustomed to that level of accountability and view it as micromanagement. I disagree. I see it as tangible goals, and the opportunity to see in black and white where I'm succeeding and where I may need help in the process, either with my own skills or in getting the management team the data they need to drive better behavior on the client side. Most people in management and senior management (even execs) have been promoted from within, even outside thier own areas of expertise. There is definitely opportunity to grow and develop, and it's encouraged and supported. New technology that's being used broadly or being tested in some accounts seems to be looking for the right balance of automation without taking the people out of the process completely where they add the most value.

Cons

Senior executives seem to be a bit "cliquey." Salary and benefits can be better at larger companies
