Pros

The environment was good and had a great work life balance

Cons

I could have done three positions instead of just one. There wasn't much variety and sometimes I would have very slow days....If you hate being bored, don't work here. Also, unless you want to become a recruiter there is not a clear succession map, it's difficult to move into other positions and get on track for promotions.

Pros

Lot of opportunities, Innovative when it comes to Technology, Caters work environment to reflect the workforce, doesn't feel you have to sit at a desk in the corporate environment to be successful. My experience has been very positive and I've been working with talented leadership that is trustworthy and as transparent as they can be.

Cons

With an organization that is growing as fast as we are, with that comes changes, contractually they can end and uncertainty can become prevalent. However, if you are producing and accountable there are opportunities awaiting you. So you need to be a change agent. If you crave "the same" this isn't the right place for you.

Thanks for your service and commitment to our teams, our employees and our clients here at Cielo. In the last couple years, we’ve worked hard to create an environment that empowers you to be your best at work – from our relaxed dress code policy and more collaborative work spaces to enhanced opportunities for learning and development, and we’re glad to see that these have had a positive impact. That said, we know we always have the opportunity to do better. I know that with our fast growth has come significant change. Coupled with our clients’ changing needs, we can all get a bit “change fatigued”. I know first-hand how uneasy these shifts can make us feel. What I hear you saying is that we need to find a way to create more confidence and sense of stability during those times of great change. We’ll be working to address that in 2018. My door’s always open, and that’s not “CEO speak”. Drop by anytime. Sue Marks, CEO, Cielo

Pros

Working remote. Some outstanding managers at the Client Services Manager & Client Services Director level. Recruit University is a good training program to become a Recruiter. No glass ceiling for women. A good step on your career.

Cons

Poor work / life balance - depends on your boss / your account but the overall company culture pushes 24/7 work. They have forgotten the basics of how to treat employees - the bottom line comes first. Veteran recruiters are leaving or being forced out because they are too expensive. Have recently lost several accounts including a huge nationwide health system. Too much internal mobility - unqualified individuals have been promoted to leadership and in some cases Director and VP roles in a short time period without the skills or experience to do the job. They are bleeding talent. Not a place to stay long term. If your client contract ends you are laid off - no severance. No equity - two recruiters with the same skills / background / niche can make very different incomes.
