Cons

I worked for the company for just over a year. Even before I started the job I had issues with working here. The first bad taste was accepting the position. I accepted a position and it took almost a month for them to send me an offer letter. As I did not want to disrespect my former employer I wanted to give a formal 2 week notice. It got kicked up to the HR Department manager who finally was able to issue me a letter. When I started I received virtually no training. The tech they use is outdated and slow. For a company that brags how much money they make, they don't spend it improve their infrastructure. I constantly dealt with people who just filed a claim and I was already their 3rd or 4th adjuster. So right out of the gate they were confused and frustrated. Management is full of "Yes" Men and Woman who don't do anything, or are too scared to speak up. I was also told that a manager had said to him, if management asks you how you are doing, regardless if you are not ok or stressed, you say you are doing great, regardless. That has really bad implications on so many levels. This really is a heartless company. And I don't have a problem showing up to cash a paycheck, but when they also lack the direction and tools to do your job it makes the stress level and 88K salary, with average benefits, not worth it. Anyone reading this who is an adjuster, Chubb has a reputation for being this great company to work for. Maybe that was the case 5 years ago, but not now. You will be shocked by the lack of direction and lack of resources you have access to. So many middle managers who have zero claim experience will make you chase your tail. The tech is terrible, and will ad about an extra hour to your day. Please head my words, do not work for this company.
