Great Company to work for if you really love people
Pros
Meeting travelers, snowbirds, and really interesting people on a daily basis, Finding a second family in not only my co-workers, but also the GM, Very easy job IF you are really a people person. It really is an easy job. It can get stressful if you are completely booked, but overall it's a good experience. Your rate of pay depends on the property owner's guidelines. I've worked for two choice hotels and one started out at $7.50 an hour while the other started me out at $8.00 an hour. Choice advantage, the system used to check guests in/out of the system is fairly user friendly. If ever you have a question about the system (I used to have questions ALL the time.) you can always call profit support.
Cons
Depending on the property in which you are employed, you may or may not have any benefits such as insurance, 401k, paid vacation, etc. Neither of the locations I have worked for offered benefits.
