Pros

• Most of the people who do the real work here are incredibly kind and helpful • Getting exposure to the global energy industry is interesting and rewarding

Cons

• Senior leadership has a poor track record around decision making, probably because they don’t understand the business • Most Managers are more obsessed with appeasing their bosses rather than actually leading teams of employees • Current CFO is beyond unqualified, doesn’t grasp basic financial concepts • No career growth, all of the biggest investments are in businesses Chevron doesn’t actually operate

Pros

Good salary and only good salary.

Cons

Networking is more important than quality of work helps you move upwards. Experience does not count much. As a result, population of poor leaders in the company is increasing. Other than the upstream business, every other business units are less favored.
