Pros

Large, complex, challenging problems in a world-spanning mesh of solutions. Possibility of world travel and foreign assignment if that is appealing. Many senior technical and management leaders will be retiring soon - tremendous opportunity for career growth afforded top performers.

Cons

Possible necessity to relocate if the next step in your career takes you from your existing work location.

Pros

Experience and outstanding technology. Cultivating the new workforce. They have a very large porfolio of assets and the ability to work a broad range of challenges

Cons

You will never get past PSG25 unless you have an inside crony. Older workers are treated like crap. Chevron does not confront problems directly and there is an air of retribution to those who challenge management
