Pros

Great benefits, pay, vacation, bonuses. Company cares about the employees and wants to ensure that our health and safety is 1st.

Cons

One of the primary downsides of working in the HR organization at Chevron is that as an experienced hire they do not value the outside experience and expertise that the employees bring. If you didn't grow up in the organization then you must do your time and earn your way through their process. Additionally, if you arent' globally mobile then it's hard to advance in the hr organization.
