Pros

During such times e.g. sanctions on Russian oil, it is raking in even more profits than before.

Cons

Non-diverse teams/old-timers/menopausal Karens/Kevins and looking to retire comfortably so want things to remain status quo, and bully/force out those viewed as threats to themselves. Having to put up with (incompetent) offshore finance doesn't help at all.
