      Pros

      None, that I can think of. Centene does not offer any perks and offer basic health care. I had to bring it to their attention about my bonus. So, much for appreciation of a software developer.

      Cons

      Too many cons to mention. But as a Software Programmer using their Agile process you get no team support except only one developer who knows the entire application. This developer is over worked with hours. No time to learn their complex batch processing system and numerous other applications. With Agile, Centene only cares about getting their software product out to production. They have a high turnover rate of contractors and full-time employees/managers.
