Pros
Great introductory experience and insight into the world of corporate engineering. As a young person there are plenty of avenues to facilitate a social life - putting in an effort goes a long way. There is a large community of graduates, placements and apprentices that run social events. You won't regret doing a placement here if it's your first look into having a 'proper job' like it was for me.
Cons
The location is not great - however LIVE IN STAMFORD! Many people working here agree it's a million times nicer than Peterborough. It's only a 20/25 min commute down the A1 to get into the office. I had a great time living there it's a leafy retreat from the industrial site.
