Pros

It's nice to work for a stable company that you know is in it for the long haul. There is some red tape that makes things sometimes hard to deal with but this red tape is what makes the wheels turn.

Cons

Movement in the company is hard and should be due to the size and number of employees. The hiring process is not always straight forward and can be frustrating.

Pros

Very Stable Job, very slow pace.

Cons

Discourage new ideas, too strong union culture. Extremely difficult for outsiders to join at mid-level or even senior management level. You have to start when you are fresh graduated.
