Pros

Great benefits & nice 12 hour flexible schedule. Co workers were fairly nice. Would recommend to others. Lots of paperwork to do

Cons

Raises were not all that common. Lots of paperwork also. Not really much room for error. Too many bosses in my opinion. Felt like a hospital

Pros

Work with a wonderful team that is driven to supporting change initiatives. Flexible work environment helps to accommodate outside life while still achieving success in the business world.

Cons

Members outside of direct team can be resistant to change and this culture can limit improvements that can be made. Catalent needs to work towards a unified front rather than experiences across sites being different for customers.

Great Place to Start....

Pros

There were many fun events that broke up the monotony of the work week (bagel friday, phat friday) when it was Pharmatek. Not sure that will last once we are fully integrated into Catalent's Corporate structure

Cons

Where do I start? *Upward mobility is limited. Why it is a great place to start but not a great place for life. Promotion scheme sounds great on paper, but promotions are slow. Also, $0.15-0.30 raises are not worth the level of stress we are put through on a weekly basis *Managers don't know their workers and would rather go off of hearsay from leads *Managers will side with favorites or senior workers if there is a conflict. *Cliques, cliques. cliques. *Have to search for lost items since there is little accountability of equipment. *Certain departments (Mfg Engineers) have an unwarranted god complex and act like they are better than you. *Equipment essentially runs until it breaks... just clean it, turn it around and put it back out. *If people senior to you see that you have talent or promise, they will make sure that you do not get recognition or be able to do anything that can showcase those skills. We can't have too many superstars or talented people. *Culture of trust and respect somewhat absent. Some leadership is not the most trusting and rather than showing, they would rather micromanage the entire process. Trust and respect are vital to a vibrant workplace.
