Pros

Most of the individual contributors are nice. Free cookies on Fridays!

Cons

- no career development, in fact my career went backwards in my time there. - I was lied to by every single person that interviewed me and wound up in a completely different job than I interviewed. - The bonus structure is bogus. If you are told you will get a 20% target bonus that means 20% max. Normally it's 5-15%. - The Morrisville site is incredibly poorly run, they constantly try to fit the same six sigma initiatives to every group regardless of actual efficiency. I spent more time putting tape on floors, removing it and reapplying a different color tape (to accomplish 5S) than I spent doing actual work. - The senior level management micromanages every aspect of your day to day, apparently they don't have much to do. - There are as many managers that make no revenue as there are contributors that make revenue... the managers spend their days wondering how they can get the contributors to work harder so they can be more profitable.... no one ever proposes that there may be too much useless management.

Pros

Opportunity to learn new systems, procedures and regulations. Great coworkers for me personally. Good pay. Great for getting experience and gaining knowledge to further your career.

Cons

Terribly ran, poor management decisions, lack of communication between departments and as an organization. Lack of training. Very few standardized processes which then requires you to follow a different set of procedures for each client or medicine leading to a ton of deviations and corrections. No care for the employees work life balance or well being. Several safety and compliance issues. Asked to perform tasks outside of the scope of your training consistently. Several shift restructures within a couple years time. I’ve had 7 supervisors in 3 years. Management and directors are never on the floor and have no idea what is going on or how our processes work. Unattainable goals and expectations to produce medication. Regularly pressured to cut corners, ignore safety concerns and rush work to get jobs out. Main concern of this company is money. Morale is very low at this point. Completely makes sense that this company is being bought out

Poor Leadership and Work Life Balance

Pros

fair pay for the area middle management and lower level employees are fantastic

Cons

leadership at the director level is atrocious and abusive everyday, something is rushed and results in poor quality work, disgraceful culture, and a multitude of ethical and legal violations most days, I don't even have time to go to the bathroom, after working multiple 12+ hour days, let alone take any breaks- this is consistent across all departments director level leaders lack knowledge to do their job; they delegate and do not support the next levels down, retaliate/yell/blame/abuse their teams below them a consistent issue is the director level blaming each other or more often, someone lower level, for their slip ups. I've heard on more than 10 occasions a rendition of: "if you wanted that done, you should have reminded me more. i'm very busy and important and don't have time to attend the meeting about this topic so that's your fault for not telling me more often." the lack of accountability is mind blowing. you expect some politics in a corporate environment but the gang that has developed at the director level is toxic, creating a toxic environment.
