Pros

Learned that all that Glitters isn't Gold. Very, very tarnished undertone.

Cons

The Love Bracelets break allllll the time and they tell their customers it's the CUSTOMERS fault.

Pros

Pay was good and it is easy to make sales because the product really is beautiful. The KISME customer service and sales training really sets you up for success, and I attribute my continuing success to following that model. Clients are wonderful and are loyal if you provide good service. Cartier looks really great on a resume.

Cons

Like any typical company, brown nosing is how one gets ahead, thus this leads to favoritism. It is very difficult to move up and in my 5 years there, I never saw a sales person grow into management. Focusing on your work and your clients isn't enough for them. The management needs praise all the time. I wish someone had told me about that game beforehand(as much as it makes my stomach turn) so my life there wouldn't have been so distressed. I didn't play that game and paid sorely for it by being singled out and harassed a lot even though I exceeded my numbers. Also, don't be surprised if management takes your sale or customer and gives it to their favorites. Like any competitive sales environment, you just have to watch your back with your coworkers -- they gossip with management and will make up stories to take your sales. Moreover, they impose silly repair fees on high end customers and refuse to waive them... Even for a $100 polishing after they just spent $20k with you the day before. It can be damaging to that client relationship. It is about maximizing profits instead of the client relationship.
