Pros

I would say the pros of this position is that you learn a lot about the ins and outs of a vehicle. You learn the terminology, sounds, etc.

Cons

Low pay wage, no room for growth, management acts like they're too good to step in and help, high turn over rate, working in all kinds of weather, shift times suck, no OT allowed in buyers office at my location. Management puts you through these stupid one on one monthly meetings to "listen" to your concerns and have a chance to give feedback.. None of the things you say matter at the end of the day. I worked at CarMax for 3 years and I can confidently say, they don't care.
