Pros
Money. That's the only reason I worked at this cess pool.
Cons
Horrible communication from management. Horrible management style all together. They will micromanage you to the grave. They will constantly change things that don't need changing. Conversely, they will not change the things that need the most changing. "Evolving" is what they call it I think. Job description says a lot of things. Key point is it says "assist with the wholesale auction". Nah. You'll run it. And you won't be compensated properly for it. This job is a scam so CarMax can make more money by hiring less people to do one of the most important jobs in the entire company. They are cold as can be. Robotic. Corporate to the bone and they don't care about their employees. They only care about how much money they can make and their precious image to their precious wholesale customers. I was personally threatened in the office I worked in with 3 witnesses. Instead of having my back they fired me for how I reacted. This place doesn't care about you. You are as expendable as the air you breathe. Zero motivation for good performance. They give you no reward for hard work or exceptional work other than the corporate "way to go bud!" Your raise? Lmao. Enjoy your "merit" raise. You'll work there for years and only increase your pay by a marginal amount. Dangerous working conditions as well. They will send you out to the heat/bitter cold in the middle of 500 cars and expect you to work through it with no complaints. No shaded areas. Nothing. They will send you out in cars that will have high potential of breaking down or critical components failing. Zero career growth opportunities. They dangle the carrot for you and leave you to chase it for eternity. Unless you kiss the ring of course. All in all. Complete waste of time. Ask yourself. Who wants to live that life?
