Pros

Great benefits, good pay (hourly), don't have to bring personal tools to the shop, fun to work on a team with a common goal. Cars sometimes have a ton of problems so if you like diagnose and fix cars.

Cons

Job is too cushy, seniority is the ultimate decider if you're "good" or not. Favoritism and lack of communication. Region cuts hours frequently. Everyone at the same position gets the same pay (1 dollar shift differential for night shift) so there isn't much incentive to do more work or go above and beyond unless the individual really wants to.
