Pros

Great PTO, health/dental benefits, education assistance, and the flexibility is nice. There are numerous training and programs offered by the company to help you grow as an individual

Cons

Employment experience varies depending on what line of business you're in. Card is the golden child, bank is the red-headed step child, and tech is the middle child craving attention. I've had great managers being in card, and one in bank, but the rest have been underwhelming and lack the basic skills to be even decent people leaders, and to make matters worse they fill management roles with people who have never had any sort of management position in their history. Thus making them horrible managers. Sure, there is training that they go through to make them great people leaders, but it's not enough. These people lack the personality and natural ability to be people leaders.

Pros

Work with smart people Learn best in class skills GREAT COMPENSATION

Cons

Extremely stressful. Very “churn and burn.” When I left there was an ER going up closer to campus. Local cardiologists call the it ”Capital One disease.”
