Pros

Work life balance is really good in most cases. Pay is decent, but bad bonuses.

Cons

PIP culture is really bad and brings morale down. Causes a toxic culture due to stack ranking — which means that 8-15% of staff is to be fired every 6 months. As long as you’re doing your job and a little more you should be fine because slackers are easy to find, but makes being a good teammate tricky if your peer is at the same level.

Managers are generally pretty good (i’ve had 5) and projects are exciting and tech forward. Many resources are given to help employees develop in their careers. A lot of emphasis on development and growth.

Cons

- Stack ranking and constant threat of layoffs regardless of objective output hurts overall morale with many employees. - High turnover rate meaning a lot of onboarding new teammates, team of 3 must complete work scoped for a team of 6
