It is highly competitive, but decent competencies mean solid compensation, benefits, stability and casual environment.

Pros

Best compensation, benefits, job stabilty around. Work environment is casual, allows work-life balance, or occassionally working from home. If you aren't lazy and do your job, and have decent competencies, you will consistently be rated well, although it is much harder and more competitive to actually advance.

Cons

Recognition and Advancement sometimes is more dependent on having a good manager to represent you in cross-calibrations, or having impressed the right people, rather than actually doing your job well.

The efficiency of this company is pretty high and people are working hard here. The coworkers are very nice and friendly.

Cons

I hope that the company can grow faster and in this case the salary can be raised so that I can have a higher pay.

Too much work, not enough pay

Pros

Good people for the most part. My group tries to have flexible work days and telecommuting but there just doesn't seem to be 100% buy-in by Sr. Mgmt. Lots of responsibility if you want it.

Cons

Culture can be difficult to get used to. Pay is well below similar positions at other companies and benefits are more costly. Lots of technical issues even though they claim to be tech savvy. My area is very production oriented so there isn't much work/life balance. Not enough time in the day to get all the work done. Not enough vacation time for mid-career hires but it doesn't really matter when most managers and above end up working most of their vacations.
