Horrific Experience

Pros

Some of my peers were as committed as me to deliver quality results. We did as much as we could with little to no support from HQ.

Cons

An extreme shortage of qualified resources and very little to none strategic vision to properly scope and sell projects. The team was then told to make it successful, and we were threatened with discharge if we couldn't use the unqualified resources to complete our deliverables on time.

Pros

Capgemini has a better work life balance than its competitors. A lot of employees work from home on few days of the month.

Cons

The org hierarchy is too layered. A lot of non-functional leaders without doing anything significant for the organisation. HR groups are not integrated between BUs. Recently a lot of ,measures taken to cut down the operational costs. The working hours are increased by 30 mins
