Exploited my team

Pros

Reasonable education and learning resources

Cons

Pushed me and those on my team to work 6 months of overtime or weekend work. They made sign a contract to repay training costs of thousands of dollars when their training was a joke. After months of huge workloads, overtime, and being getting the highest possible annual employee rating, they refused to give me a 10% raise and demanded I work another 4 months of weekend work. Do NOT work for this company.

Thank you for your review. Yes, big projects all will have periods where the time commitment gets more intense – that’s the nature of challenging projects —but we are always focused on supporting our people so that while they get the experience on big accounts they are also getting to enjoy the work-life balance that supports them in achieving their career goals and growing at our company.

Pros

Nice colleagues, enough budget for training and certificates.

Cons

You don't get a job which you want, but a job which they have. They don't care what you are doing of what your interest is as long as you just make sure you write your hours so they can earn money.

Pros

Training provision is good Customer-facing staff are hard-working and highly competent

Cons

Review process (My Path) is completely unfit for purpose. Very top heavy with senior management It's not enough to excel in your role - you will not get any recognition or promotion. You have to play the corporate game to get raises or promotions. The shady "calibration" meeting which set a person's grade for the year are vehicles for senior managers to rewards their pals and those empty vessels who are most vocal within "the community"

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. It’s good to hear that you’re making the most of the training on offer at Capgemini, and that you’re working alongside some really hard working and highly skilled colleagues. We acknowledge that you are uncomfortable with your experience of your performance review. Capgemini is very open and there is the opportunity to speak to your manager or to HR, we would encourage you to explore these routes.
