Pros

Great challenging projects but don’t wait to be told what to do be active in your actions in how you become value added for your client when on assignment. Salary is quite reasonable and great support when things don’t go right, if you’re honest with people they’ll be honest with you. Recipe for success or at least mine were: A. Get involved in cross organisational initiatives and get recognised. B. Chat to your manager and let him know what your expectations are and he should let you know what is achievable. C. If you do consider leaving at any time don’t wait until you are frustrated as you then make poor decisions about your reasons for joining another organisation.

Cons

Performance reviews are what they are. You can put a lot of effort in to them and easily be offended with the outcome, but don’t take it personally, no system is perfect. What is important is learning from those observations which you deem are valid and don’t worry wart the rest, there is always a degree of fitting you in to the performance bell curve no matter what anyone says. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. When you feel you have had enough then look for a new challenge, don’t stay and whinge, no one likes a whinger. If you do stay then push for a new challenge.

Pros

Few projects have a good architects.

Cons

HR doesn't care about your life even if you have good performance and feedback from the tech lead. They rap your vacation time with thier complicated vacation policy to make it impossible to take 2 weeks vacation overseas. HR threatening you to reassign or fire you if you ask to extend your vacation for one week. Projects are not organized. Also they hire not qualified employees they don't know how to declare a variable. They said they make money the most from US and less employees they have in US but the worst benefits. Also they can change you tech stack when they put you on project.

Pros

-Nice Atlanta Office -Perks really depend on the project you're on. -Overall very chill environment if you complete your tasks -

Cons

-After 10 months into client's project, notified my mental health wasn't doing too good but I was doing an excellent job for the client. -Right after a major implementation, I was removed from the project, despite me saying I'll stay on the project. -No one on the client or the team really knew why I was removed -Spent a month looking for projects but a common thing you'll hear within Cap is that getting you on a client's project is difficult. I was involved within my own team as well helping with couple proposals -Within the last month of looking for projects, "laid me off" due to resource allocations with a severance -It was funny because i know multiple consultants who didn't have a project for 6-9months plus constantly
