      My time in Cisco TAC process at Aricent

      Pros

      The only reason that people will want to work in Aricent (Cisco TAC), is that they get to work on Cisco Technology.

      Cons

      + Little to no benefits + No differentiation between over-achievers and under-achievers. + Management has no interest in welfare of employees. + Bad culture, there have been several incidents of people caught drunk in the campus or watching porn. + Bad food served in cafeteria. There is a garbage dump just behind the building, and the campus reeks of filth. + No real parking, lifts that fail randomly. Over all very bad building. You should join this company if and only if, you truly have no other option in life.

      - Ok salary - Flexible timings - HR team supportive

      Cons

      -Sr mgmt (Delivery Managers) have no idea of what they are doing. -Hiring for the sake of hiring and if you do not get billed (they may layoff) especially automotive division - Ruthless managers without self respect and will not allow you to do any work - Managers are wasting companies time and resources - They do not have any internal projects but they boast of having lot of projects in pipeline. (be careful this is trap )so that they can show some bench resources.

      Pros

      Management is so disorganized, you can work for three or more months while you look for a real job. They seem to hire just about anyone.

      Cons

      Low salary and very low bonuses. Poor benefits. "Confidential" surveys really are not. Get everything in writing as institutional memory is very short. Job shop were people are not treated as an asset. Foliage in Boston purchased by Altran and then Capgemini with employees being treated worse with each re-organization.
