      Executive MGMT is a total joke

      Pros

      Work can be good and rewarding as long as you stay away from executive management.

      Cons

      False promises. No career path or promotions plans. False promises on pay increases. Parent company in France takes all profits and leaves its employees holding the bag. Strategy is planned, but execution of that is terrible. Central to ignition 2020 plan is engaged employees; but then there has been NO action to actually promote engagement. Many people I talk with feel there is no leadership from the top within organization.

      Inefficient Top Management

      Pros

      Altran Globally at the middle level has some interesting and serious employee' s with whom you can work with and rely on.

      Cons

      Top Management is not coherent or effective at the people management level. Managers don' t know what they are doing, they does not know the team or people performance' s and they take inconsistent and bad decisions without hesitating. Top Managers don' t care about customer needs and get involved in everything. Top Manager' s don' t have clear vision about any kind of strategy. Middle managers constantly change and move the direction and the course of processes, procedures and way of doing things and truly don' t care about the people that every day works hard to achieve his/her goals. People don' t really matter in Altran.

      Dull place to work

      Pros

      Hard to think of any - its performing as a business but mainly by exploiting its staff. A large overhead of corporate functionaries creating work of no value

      Cons

      A total lack of strategic consistency - a leadership that doesn't understand the services they offer and a branding that misrepresents what they do means that Altran is oversold as an employer . It has no discernible values that determine the behaviour of its managers, an ethic inherited from its most senior managers. Despite its protestations, its a glorified staffing agency.
