Would be the perfect teaching role if they hourly rate was higher and all the students turned up.
Pros
Flexible schedule, you can work as little or as much as you want per week, 24/7 (9-10hrs per day limit). Can teach adults and children from all over the world. All planning etc done for you. You just give your availability and students start booking with you. I enjoy teaching all age groups, nationalities and language levels.
Cons
If a student does not turn up, you only get 10 mins pay out of the 30 min lesson reservation. Sometimes back to back no shows, so maybe you are online 2 hours, but none showed up, you would get only 40 mins pay for 120 minutes of bookings. The hourly rate is so low anyway and now with the dollar going down in value and dropping, its worth even less. It is a shame, as its a great platform and the students are mostly really nice. I am sure many great teachers leave if not earning enough to survive full time.
