      Pros

      Clients are from all over the world, so you don’t have to work weird hours. There’s lots of clients.

      Cons

      Pay is horrible. Their rating system is really bad, and what makes it worse is that you don’t get to see who rated you and what they said about you.

      Pros

      - work anytime - job is mostly just talking to people - meet people from all over the world - help people with English - you can make some extra snack money while you’re browsing the Internet or watching YouTube - can make money if you’re bored and feeling chatty

      Cons

      - have to be on video - students and platform have poor connection - LOW pay. You only get paid by the minute. So half the time you’re on there you might not get calls. So you really make less than $8 an hour - even if you do stay booked it’s not worth it at only $10 an hour. Just find a higher paying tutor job - you can’t see any feedback from students

      Pros

      Ultimate flexibility. The most flexible job in the world makes it great for travelling, if you're in a cheap country.

      Cons

      Pay is horrendous. Gets you by in cheap countries but that is all. Full of glitches No support, the staff will blame the tutor rather than the website. Ratings system seems to have a mind of its own, likely to cycle through tutors and provide a carrot/stick, but it is not correlated to performance. Actual work time varies wildly; some weeks you'll be inundated and some you'll be very quiet. Weirdly this seems independent of the rating system.
