      Pros

      You have absolute flexibility of when to work and how many hours. You don't have to stick to a routine - although having one can help build a base of regular students. You can meet a variety of students from different countries and language levels. Pre-planned lessons and interactive whiteboard make teaching easy - although not all students make use of this feature. No micromanaging - but tutor support if needed.

      Cons

      Building a base of regular students can take some time and until that time, pay is minimal. No additional training. Sometimes it can take a while for tutor support to get back to you.

      Pros

      I fell in love with Cambly's culture immediately after I joined the company. It is a very flat organization. Everyone is here to learn and grow and it is clear that every one of us is empowered to do so. We grew really fast in terms of the company size and the business in the past few years and I strongly believe the success is mainly derived from the culture we embrace and how that is transmitted to our product and communication to the customers.

      Cons

      We have teams all over the world. Thus, it is not easy to meet all the team members in person especially in the current situation.

      Pros

      The hours are flexible, meaning you can work as little or as much as suits you at any given time.

      Cons

      Students are able to cancel scheduled classes at any time, this sometimes happens minutes before the class is due to commence, which is often frustrating.
