      Pros

      You get paid in USD weekly, so you can live wherever there is a decent internet connection. You can work literally whenever you want or how much you want. (You need to keep your rating up about a 4.9 if you want consistent hours, but I haven't found that to be very difficult so far.)

      Cons

      Some of the students can be a bit challenging, but it's rare. It would be nice to have a quicker way to keep track of students. Women will probably have a tougher time of it than men. It would be nice to have something to work towards as far as bonuses or pay rates.

      Pros

      You can work when you want You are able to connect with a lot of people from a lot of different places It is enjoyable as long as you have regulars

      Cons

      This company does not care about you or your needs. If you message them with concerns they say: thanks for your feedback! and then you are told you are wrong. Additionally, they told employees that they would be getting student comments and we still haven't gotten them. If you sign up for priority hours you will be very disappointed in how you are treated. Unless your rating is very low, you will be getting a lot of calls. If you need to go to the bathroom which lasts 2 minutes, you will lose the rest of your break if you go back on. This company does not care about you and you will be underpaid for the kinds of work you are required to do. I spend a lot of time trying to find articles to read with my students or answering messages of prospective students. You will not be paid for that time. You will also have a lot of students that demand your personal information and you will be marked down when you tell them no. This company DOES NOT care for their employees.

      Cambly is a great platform for online tutoring

      Pros

      I love Cambly because it is very flexible and I can work whatever hours I want. Getting paid to talk with people from all over the world and help them with their English is so much fun!

      Cons

      Only con is sometimes connections are bad and there can be a lot of dropped calls. I don’t know if this is because of poor internet connections or something with Cambly.
