      you can set your own hours and establish a base of regular students , you get to work with people from all over the world.

      Meeting people from all around the world can be interesting, I made a couple of real friendships due to the students I met.

      Cons

      The pay is horrendously low, you cannot survive on the pay while living in any developed country. The pay never increased, and there were no incentives or rewards for gaining regular students. There were constant bugs and tech problems on the site and Cambly will blame you 100% of the time. You can sometimes be penalised for the tech issues and Cambly aren't interested in treating you fairly in this regard. Some of the students are gross, you get the occasional obscene comment or people being completely vulgar, you can report them but you can't unsee what you see. It feels pretty violating when that happens.
