      Cambly : An Excellent Working Experience

      Pros

      I have been employed at Cambly as a Tutor for 1.5 years. Without question, Cambly is a great place to work for numerous reasons. 1. Great Cambly Team 2. Application user interface is continually updated and easy to use. 3. Super great students. Never had any issues with my students. 4. Generally, students are serious learners which is the way I like it. 5. Pay is adequate for my needs. 6. I always look forward to reconnecting with my regular students. 7. With a little effort it is possible to establish regular students. 8. It is all about the love of being a tutor / teacher.

      Cons

      Although the Cambly rating system has been an issue for some Tutors, I have drawn my own conclusions. * PRS ( Personal Rating System) = My PRS is based upon whether my schedule is full and I am making the maximum amount of money possible vs time spent. * In my opinion, the present Cambly rating system serves numerous functions which goes beyond merely rating Tutors so it is probably best to just ignore it.

      Best Work From Home Job EVER!

      Pros

      I do this because it is so flexible and rewarding. The support staff quickly resolve Technical, Payments, My Student Technical, Training/Suggestions and all other issues. I can work from anywhere that has internet and electricity. I have worked while living in Spain, vacationing across America in my RV and even while my wife was driving me to another state using my mobile hotspot and a laptop computer. I have so many great students that choose to fill in my schedule every week. I also can log on anytime if I don't have scheduled appointments. Here is a comment one of my students made today after having a bad day at work: "I hope. we'll see tomorrow. Thank you so much for your support. When I do class, I literally happy and my face looks like these emojies :) :)" This is why I have enjoyed working for Cambly for over one and a half years.

      Cons

      The only con is when your student or you have a low connection speed, the audio and video can cut out. That is not Cambly's fault but it is a con when working with students with low network speeds.

      Pros

      Love being able to work when I can, absolutely love the students that I have meet and still meet. The fact that it is so flexible is perfect. On the whole is a great place to work.

      Cons

      I think perhaps that they hire way too many tutors .
