      Low consistent pay, but easy to pick up flexible hours.

      Pros

      They consistently pay you each week and most of the time teaching is easy. Cambly Kids pays more at 12 dollars an hour and adult Cambly pays 10$ an hour. Most adults just want conversation practice. Kids classes have a set curriculum.

      Cons

      The pay is super low. The platform is sometimes unstable. Balancing priority hours and reservations at the same time can be annoying.

      - So flexible - Amazing cultural experiences - Interested students - Pay on time, great transparency - Very regular calls and bookings when the algorithm likes you - Very fun compared to other online teaching platforms

      - The salary but it doesn't even phase me because the job is so fun

      Pros

      Easy platform and the students are marvelous. You are talking with well educated people from all over the world who are extremely interesting.

      Cons

      The company is using algorithms that are faulty causing mistakes like saying that you missed an appointment when you haven't and other problems. Their messaging is not professional and sounds threatening. Changes they have made have some probably unintended consequences but they are very inconvenient. I have messaged them about it, but they don't fix the problems. Support leaves a lot to be desired, they assume you are too stupid to turn on the computer and just suggest the same things over and over which you've already done. Then when you tell them that they have no other help. BTW in the beginning it wasn't like this. I've been on the platform for many years and they used to sincerely address the issue.
