Great coworkers, location and occasionally perks. This is a competitive industry and many are trying to be innovative. Many older architects and talented people here

Cons

Top down politics spoil the water. Favoritism and lack of communication for fear of backlash leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Uncertainty and lack of support from middle and upper management drives many to believe that this is not a long term spot. Great for launching your career but not for sticking around. Merger has ruined benefits, morale and everyone at the lower rungs is woefully underpaid. They cut corners and will throw you down the river to serve corporate goals or their bossy big name clients. Get ready to burn out.

Most Bureaucratic Firm

Pros

RTKL London's designers spent most of time doing non intelligent work. People constantly feeling bored and tired. It's the most bureaucratic firm I have ever worked for. The salary just can't compensate the bad work life balance. The worst however is the designers have nothing to show as a proud project.

Cons

It's a haven for people who can talk but have no real talent. There's an appreciation from the leadership for people who can keep the heads down and get things done. The educational background or talent doesn't matter that much.

good employer. everyone here is very nice, and helpful

Cons

Not much to learn concerning design. Projects here are very cost-driven. We don't have much chance to really design form or challenge conventional architecture
