Pros

- ton of hours - manager was flexible

Cons

- Disorganized training, lack of support, understaffing, unclear expectations My experience was very disorganized from the start. On my first day, my field representative was not available, so I only briefly spoke with the pharmacy manager. I was not given a tour of the store, shown basic areas like the break room, or provided an overview of procedures such as breaks or bag checks. The focus was primarily on setting up training, but I was often unable to complete it. During required shadowing portions, I was told to skip them because staff did not have time due to how busy the store was. On multiple occasions, I was placed in pickup and drive-thru without proper training, which made it difficult to perform tasks correctly. I felt pressured to assist despite not being adequately prepared. There were also several days where my training was delayed in order to cover understaffed areas. Additionally, although the role was presented as part-time, I was consistently scheduled for full-time hours.

Pros

Decent benefits and 401k match. Decent equity the further up the ladder you go. Remote work if that's your thing. CEO does actually seem to have a solid vision for the company. More than what past execs have had.

Cons

On the Caremark side it is the worst, most disorganized place I have ever worked. There is so much tension and lack of coordination between teams. Benefits are comprehensive, but not a lot of choice and will cost most than you would expect for a leading health care conglomerate. They play games and charge you extra if your spouse has benefits through their employer and they opt into yours. Low pay for the expectations depending on your department.
