Pros

Compensation and benefits are decent. Flexible work arrangements make for a manageable work / life balance. Being such a large company, CVS Caremark has plenty of opportunities within the company from which to choose your next position.

Cons

There is way too much administrative overhead on my team. There is little motivation to improve processes or reduce redundancies. Everyday is a new fire drill. Team members are not valued and there is no sense of employee development. Upward mobility exists only insofar as your ability to be management's puppet. Unfortunately, a clear gender bias exists with respect to management's selection of team leaders.

Pros

Reputation and market position as leader in Rx retail segment. Learnnet is a satisfactory learning and educational tool.

Cons

Lack of management support. Constant unfavorable realignment of budget expectations, while performance continues to improve and bottom line increases. Conflicting support of core initiatives, want us to provide the highest level of customer service, while reducing payroll hours. Disservice to employees who dedicate their lives to the success of this company, no real recognition or appreciation from mid through senior level management.

Pros

Close to home and the grocery store.

Cons

Were do I begin? There is absolutely no autonomy. The NP must follow Minute Clinic guidelines in treating every patient eventhough it is appropriate for the NP to use her experience but OH no not here. The guidelines are not updated and in fact the hypertention guidelines are dangerously outdated. The management are morons...they back stab and say horrible things about each other. I am ashmed that my colleage behave in this way. I am a experienced practitioner and have only been here a short while and actively looking for a new job. And if I hear one more time...Wow, they make you sit in here all day long...Im going to scream. The clinic is really about the size of a walk in closet...no windows very depressing. It's a one stop shop...you are the secretary, cashier, janitor and robot practitioner...this job couldn't be worse if the tried.
