Pros

Hybrid or Remote work option. Work life balance if that is important for you. Rapid modernization in tech stack, technologies, and AI tools used within the last 2 years. Job benefits are decent like student loan repayment, eye insurance is really good, and 5% 401k matching.

Cons

Some teams lack a clear roadmap with changing or shifting priorities in 2026. Some teams move fast and innovate new things and get all the accolades. So it is really team dependent and a supportive manager can make or break your career growth and work experience. Corporate politics to navigate the waters to make it is real too. Bonus payouts can be really good or bad some years, so it's bipolar don't count on it. Health insurance plan options, they could have made it fully free since we are a health insurance company but it's there. Some doctors might not be in network with Aetna.
