Valuable career experience for a future in the medical field

Flexible hours, opportunities for further career growth potential (if you are planning to go into a medical field, especially pharmacy), on-the-job training for technicians and CVS will pay the fee for technicians to become nationally certified. Very knowledgeable, personable pharmacists who take the time to address customer issues and help answer any questions employees may have with drugs or CVS procedure.

Cons

Store managers seem unaware/uninterested in any personal situations occurring in the pharmacy, such as scheduling conflicts or requests for more hours. Until anything affects the store manager, they are not interested in assisting you.

Cons

The employees are not recognized or not recognized enough for the work they perform. CVS is to worried about how much they are paying their employees and dont pay enough for the work done.

-Excellent benefits package with 401K with 5% company match, 20% store discount (30% on CVS brand), Employee stock purchase plan allows for discounted pricing. -Prescription fill process is very simple and streamlined compare to other pharmacies I've worked at.

Cons

Limited to no time for lunch breaks.
