Pros
It was a good job while I was trying to get through college. They worked around my busy schedule which let me focus on what really counted - getting my degree. I had enough fun on the job working with a disgruntled pharmacist, and enjoyed being able to yell at customers when they were being tools. Ultimately, it wasn't a place to make a career out of. The pharmacy had somewhat less turnover than the front store, but in the end, all of the jobs are dead end. Ultimately, the best reason to work at CVS/Caremark is "because I need a job now."
Cons
The benefits were non-existent. I had to deal with rude customers and disgruntled coworkers much of the day. My store manager when I started was skimming off the drawers and pointing it towards employees. the front store employees acted like they were f'n managers and were always giving me weird looks, and would come scream at the pharmacy workers for not answering the phone fast enough or not doing something for Mr. or Mrs. so'n'so who confused the drive thru window at the pharmacy for being a drive thru for the front store. Also, the public doesn't listen to anything I said.
