Pros

Everyone at CVS/Caremark is friendly and will make you feel at home. Lots of benefits available at low employee cost. Lots of training when time is available.

Cons

Customer Care Representatives must be at the top of their game at all times. Every call is recorded and analyzed with sophisticated equipment. Reps must be "perfect" on each call no matter what the situation. Reps are tied to telephone most of the time. Difficult to take bathroom breaks when you are talking on phone to a customer. Many are calling only because they feel there is a problem that must be fixed immediately. Supervisors do not want to take phone calls if customer has problem. They prefer to remedy situation after the call is done, and angry customer is even angrier.

Pros

Great place to learn the PBM industry, tons of classes to take; Many departments offer a flex schedule or a work from home program. Quarterly bonuses. Looks great on resume.

Cons

Salaries are lower than industry averages. 50+ hour work weeks are expected for some people, but not others in the same position, which is unfair. Inter-departmental communication and cooperation is low, making it difficult to get work done in a timely manner. Promotion process is shady. People who are good at becoming best buddies with upper management get the jobs often, without doing much work, while those who excel at the work are not recognized. A few people who have left middle management have said that upper management does not care at all about the employees work/life balance or how much they pile on their desks.

Pros

As store manager you have ability to build your own team. If you are complaining about long hours then hire the right people its part of being a MANAGER.Great benefits,Great pay as long as you negotiate well .

Cons

To many floor displays and no place to put them, also lets get a better return policy to many garbage pickers looking for cash reciepts then taking product off shelves and returning them look at major retailers etc; Home depot, Lowes, Target they track all transactions by name, can look up names, also register prompts the lowest price item has been for the last year
