Pros

-Good benefits. -Decent employee discounts (20% off regular items and 30% off cvs products) -Co-workers are usually great to get along with. -Work schedule not too grueling. But can get bad if there are sick calls and the management need help covering shifts.

Cons

-Sometimes management are all about numbers, all they care about is seeing a high score. -Customers can be extremely demanding. -Hours get cut all the time leaving us no help. But yet they want the best customers service. -At times the store can be so busy, there is no lunch break. I sometimes work 12 hour days and only had water and a snack. You can't even sit down for 5 minutes to eat because it is so busy. -Company tries to gain customers by giving out $25 gift cards for prescription transfer but end up just giving away free $ and causing more work for us due to most customers just go back to their regular store after they receive their gift card. Plus many customers abuse this by bringing multiple coupons we have to acknowledge.

Pros

Benefits are great....medical, vision and dental. Pays well. Pharmacies are well stocked. CVS cares about their customers and tries its best for customer satisfaction

Cons

Firstly, pharmacists don't get any sort of breaks so we go 12 - 14 hrs without lunch breaks. Secondly, we are always overworked and understaffed.

Pros

As a shift supervisor you're authorized to train to learn most store operations. This opens doors for moving up as an assistant or store manager. The store is a clean and friendly environment to work in.

Cons

Although you're authorized to receive training on most store operations, management is sometimes unresponsive to your career goals.
