Pros

-Work with great people -Decent pay and benefits -Decent work/life balance -Generally steady work flow which can be partially associated with job security(though not fully).

Cons

-The job consists of getting yelled at by customers for something you have no control of 9/10 of the time. -There is no room for advancement unless you know the right people, and even then your chances are slim. The next step up from a rep is a supervisor and there is only about 10-15 of those out of about 200-250 people. Do the math. -Even if you are not looking to stay in the customer service department, there generally is no room for advancement because other departments won't look at your application just because you are customer service. -Ever since CVS took over, the corporate culture is even more impersonal and the benefits started going down hill. -You are basically the lowest on the totem pole, and no matter how important you may have illusions you are, you are basically dispensable.
