Pros

Company stability and financial health

Cons

Focus is clearly on the backend pharmacy. Unless the store is high volume, severe unstaffing is the norm rather than the exception. This reality translates in to endless working hours by the Asst. Manager to augment the lack of staffing. Quality of life suffers as a result, and the demands can be physically exhausting. An asst. manager is essentially a salaried laborer with little managerial discretion. This is a business plan this does serve the company well from a bugetary standpoint. This is retail, so one considering this career should be prepared for the reality.

Pros

Discount card is very useful. Hours are very flexible.

Cons

Customers can be very rude. Management can be rude/lazy sometimes, and you will need to call them a lot.

Pros

Great Co-workers and a good feeling from doing an important job making a difference in our pharmacy customers lives

Cons

Overworked, underappreciated, customers must get whatever they want no matter how ridiculous the request or how rude / dishoest they are, nor how much it breaches company policy, just so long as upper management dont have to hear about it.
